If you were to do something radical and dedicate 24 hours to nurturing your soul, what would that look like?
Our capitalist society has hijacked precious time to just be. To sit with the breath, minimise screen time, slowly enjoy a meal and resist the urgency of doing more. Let's be more this month on and off the mat, by setting boundaries to respect our time and to nourish ourselves.
This might be just the excuse you need to adopt some rituals to invite inner peace and harmony in November. This 10 minute flow might be a nice starting point to weave nourishment into your daily routine. A few of my favourite rituals are:
A playlist featuring my all-time favourite songs, headphones in, private dance party
A bath with candles, followed by a good lathering of body butter
Morning journalling with a coffee in bed
A stroll in nature with a warm pain au chocolate and coffee
Re-reading Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and then setting goals to integrate them off the mat
Swapping a series binge for 90 minutes of yin yoga & journalling
Just like our yoga practice, this list will look different for everyone. Enjoy it. You do you.
